Just in from visiting with the boys.
Allan was all dressed up in a fancy new vest -- wrong side out, but still cute. (That's what happens when you let him dress himself!) He was a little worn out when I got there -- his bloodwork was a little out of whack so they adjusted his o2 a little and he seemed to be feeling better about things. As Dr. Rao says, this is just normal behavior. Allan's going to feel better some days than others. Still, overall, his lungs look pretty good and he was awake and checking me out when I first got there.
Griffith was feeling better today, too. He was wearing some inordinately large blue crocheted booties and that was ticking him off. Still, it was giving him something to work on other than pulling out his vent tube. The docs are just waiting on him to put on a little more weight before they try him off of the vent again. Unless he pulls the tube out again. In which case, they expect him to give it the ol' college try. He was pretty wide awake when I was there, too, and we were able to hang out for quite a while before I had to come back.
So, so far so good again. Here's hoping they don't get rowdy this weekend.
